  • Republican Sen. Susan Collins warned: ‘Obviously if Judge Kavanaugh has lied about what happened, that would be disqualifying.’
  • Kavanaugh ‘stands ready to testify tomorrow if the Senate is ready to hear him,’ White House spokesman Raj Shah said in a statement
  • President Trump also defended his Supreme Court nominee, saying he’s ‘never even had a blemish on his record’ and ‘it will work out very well’
  • Trump also indicated he’d be fine with a delay in the confirmation and wants the ‘complete process’: ‘If it takes a little delay it’ll take a little delay’
  • Kavanaugh said in a new statement Monday that he is willing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee again and has again denied the allegation
  • He added: ‘I had no idea who was making this accusation until she identified herself yesterday’ 
  • He was spotted arriving at the White House on Monday morning, it’s been reported he has hired an attorney, and he’s calling key senators
  • Christine Ford’s attorney had said earlier in the day that Ford is willing to testify in public before the Senate Judiciary Committee
  • ‘She’s willing to do whatever it takes to get her story forth,’ Ford’s attorney Debra Katz told ‘The Today Show’
  • She also said Ford believes the attack was ‘attempted rape’
